Project: Pool Replaster in Alva, Florida

Before:



The pool surface was visibly aged, showing signs of discoloration and staining—most notably a large, dark rust-like stain near the center of the floor. The plaster finish exhibited uneven coloration and a worn-out appearance, with faint surface cracking and mottling common in older pools. The coping, made of standard brown precast coping stones, appeared weathered and dated, clashing with the newer paver deck surrounding it. Overall, the pool looked functional but tired, in need of both aesthetic and structural upgrades.

Scope of Work:

• Complete plaster resurfacing with heavy glass bead integration for added brilliance and texture
  
• Installation of new tile around the perimeter of the pool
• Installation of new Island Palm Coping
  
• Full skimmer replacement to restore proper water circulation and filtration
  
• New LED pool light installation 

Timeline: 1 week

Delays/Challenges:

During the initial plaster application, it became clear that the mix did not include the proper amount of white cement required when using glass beads. As a result, the finish did not meet our visual and quality expectations.



How We Solved It:

Because customer satisfaction and industry-standard results are at the core of everything we do, we made the decision to completely remove and reapply the plaster. Our team carefully demolished the first coat and ensured the proper glass bead-to-cement ratio was used during reapplication. This not only restored the finish to its intended brilliance, but also reaffirmed our commitment to delivering only the best results.

Project: Pool & Spa Renovation in Englewood, Florida

Before:



The existing pool and spa area showed signs of aging throughout. The spa plaster was visibly deteriorated, with staining and surface discoloration, especially around the seat area and drain. The tile line was outdated and had several signs of calcium buildup. The main pool plaster also appeared faded and uneven, detracting from the overall aesthetic of the outdoor space. While structurally functional, the visual appearance of both pool and spa clearly needed renewal.

Scope of Work:

• Full plaster resurfacing of both pool and spa
  
• Installation of new waterline tile for a refreshed, modern look
  
• Surface prep, detailing, and finishing to restore a clean, uniform appearance
  
  

Timeline: 9 days

Delays/Challenges:

No major delays were encountered on this project. We were able to proceed with the scope as scheduled, thanks to favorable weather conditions and solid underlying structure.

The Result:

Project: Pool Remodel in Fort Myers, Florida

Scope of Work:

• Complete plaster resurfacing of the existing pool 
• Installation of new waterline tile and cap tile for a refined, modern edge
• Construction of a new 6’ x 6’ raised spa fully integrated with the existing pool system
• Replacement of the existing skimmer to improve circulation and efficiency
• Installation of a new deck drain system for proper water management
• Deck renovation with the installation of marble pavers for a high-end, durable surface

Timeline:  Approximately 4 weeks

Delays/Challenges:

Due to intermittent rain during key phases of the deck installation, progress slowed at times and required rescheduling of certain tasks. Weather conditions are always a factor in outdoor construction, but we remained focused on meeting our agreed timeline.

To make up for lost time, our team accelerated the workflow by completing key tasks over the weekend. Prioritizing client satisfaction and project deadlines, we coordinated closely with all trades involved to ensure smooth execution. Through constant communication and careful planning, we were able to deliver the project on time without compromising on quality.
